We are seeking an energetic and motivated Renewable Sales Representative to grow our customer base by targeting solar farm projects, renewable energy developments, and large-scale construction sites. This role will focus on developing new business opportunities for our portable restroom, dumpster, and waste management services. The ideal candidate has experience in outside sales, strong relationship-building skills, and an understanding of the construction and renewable energy industries.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and secure new business with solar farm developers, renewable energy contractors, and related construction projects.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with project managers, site supervisors, and procurement teams.
Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals tailored to project-specific needs (portable restrooms, roll-off dumpsters, hand wash stations, and related services).
Monitor renewable energy and solar farm project pipelines to identify upcoming opportunities.
Collaborate with operations and dispatch teams to ensure services meet client expectations and timelines.
Negotiate pricing and contract terms while maintaining profitability.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Consistently achieve and exceed sales goals.
Qualifications
2+ years of outside B2B sales experience (construction, waste management, equipment rental, or related field preferred).
Strong knowledge of the construction industry; familiarity with renewable energy/solar projects is a plus.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Comfortable traveling within the region to visit job sites and meet with clients.
Proficiency with HubSpot and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
